Overview

Die or Dice is developed by Crunchy Click Unipessoal LDA ("we", "us"). We respect your privacy and are committed to being transparent about the data our app handles. This policy applies to the Android and iOS versions of Die or Dice.

Data We Collect

Die or Dice collects anonymous gameplay analytics to help us understand how the game is played and improve the experience. This includes:

• Gameplay actions (combat choices, ability usage, run outcomes)
• Game performance metrics (session length, progression stats)
• App version and platform (Android or iOS)

Player ID

When you first open the app, a randomly generated identifier (UUID v4) is created and stored locally on your device. This ID is used solely to group analytics events from the same device. It is not derived from any personal information, device identifier, phone number, email, or hardware ID. It cannot be used to identify you as an individual.

What We Do Not Collect

We do not collect any personally identifiable information. Specifically, we do not collect:

• Name, email address, or phone number
• Location data
• Device identifiers (IMEI, Android ID, IDFA)
• Contacts, photos, or files
• Financial or payment information

Analytics Opt-Out

You can disable analytics collection at any time from the Settings screen within the app. When disabled, no gameplay data is sent to our servers.

Third-Party Services

Analytics data is sent to our own backend services (hosted on Talo and Supabase). We do not share your data with advertisers or any other third parties. We do not display ads.

Google Play and Apple may independently collect crash reports and diagnostic data as part of their platform services. This collection is governed by their respective privacy policies.

Data Retention

Analytics data is retained for the purpose of improving the game. Since the data is anonymous and not linked to any personal identity, it cannot be attributed to any individual user.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
